1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
Depending on your role and use, we may collect account details, name, email, phone number, city, profile photo, company information, skills, experience, bio, preferred pay, resumes or files you choose to upload, event and job posts, client event requirements, applications, messages, ratings, reviews, reports, subscription status, payment-provider references, notification tokens, device/platform details, local app preferences, logs, security information, and information you choose to submit through website forms or support links.
Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication; we do not intentionally store or display your plain-text password.
The Platform currently does not require Aadhaar or government-identification uploads. Please do not upload government identification unless a future verified process expressly requests it.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts; operate profiles, listings, applications, requests, chat, notifications, reviews, subscriptions, and deletion; reveal protected contact details after relevant acceptance; detect abuse or fraud; moderate Content; provide support; verify payments; improve the Platform; and comply with law.
4. Visibility and Sharing
Profile information, listings, requirements, applications, ratings, and reviews may be visible to relevant users. Protected contact details are intended to remain hidden until the applicable request or application is accepted.
We may share information with relevant users, service providers supporting authentication, hosting, storage, notifications, app distribution, support, moderation, or payments, and where required for law, safety, fraud prevention, or a business transfer. These providers include Google Firebase and applicable app stores or payment providers. We do not sell personal information.
5. Permissions
Camera, photo-library, and file access are used only when you choose to capture or upload supported media. Push-notification permission is used for relevant Platform alerts. Optional permissions can be withdrawn through device settings.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards, including authenticated access, access controls, provider security features, and encrypted network transmission where supported. No system is completely secure. Personal-data incidents will be investigated and notified where required by applicable law.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
The public website currently does not use advertising or behavioural-analytics cookies. It may load third-party resources such as web fonts, whose providers may receive technical request information. The mobile app uses local storage for limited preferences and read-state information. Read our Cookie Notice.
8. Retention and Deletion
We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably required for Platform operation, security, fraud prevention, disputes, enforcement, and law. After a deletion request, access is disabled and associated data is scheduled for deletion within 45 days.
Limited records may be retained longer where reasonably required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, payment records, active disputes, or enforcement. Retained records are restricted and deleted when no longer required.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request a summary of your personal data and processing activities, correction, completion, updating, deletion, restriction, or information about sharing. You can update profile data, withdraw optional permissions, block users, report Content, and request deletion inside the app or through our Account Deletion page. Where applicable, you may nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
10. Children
The Platform is intended only for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts.
11. International Processing and Changes
Service providers may process information in India or other countries where they operate. We may update this Policy as the Platform or law changes and will update the effective date.
12. Grievances and Contact
For privacy requests or complaints, email support@thecrewzapp.com. Include enough information for us to identify your account and understand the request. We will acknowledge and handle grievances within the timelines required by applicable law.
